We are happily preparing for Chattanooga Classical Academy’s launch year. Prospective families are encouraged to begin early by attending a community meeting, learning more about the school, and preparing application materials ahead of the priority deadline.

2. Admissions Applications Open: October 1, 2026

3. Tuition Assistance Applications Open: November 15, 2026

Tuition assistance applications open November 15, 2026. (The tuition assistance application is through BeneFAQ, a third party financial aid qualification service provider that generates an accurate, objective insight into each applicant’s situation. Applicants pay $35 directly to BeneFAQ for the service.)

4. Complete Your Application: Fall 2026 – Winter 2027

Complete your application through DreamClass and pay the admissions fee. Submit other needed materials: the candidate questionnaire, request for information from current school, reading/English reference, and mathematics reference. Continue asking questions as you discern next steps for your family. We will contact you to schedule your student’s academic assessment. Once the assessment has been completed, the school will schedule an admissions interview with you.

4. Priority Application & Financial Aid Deadline: Friday, January 22, 2027

Applications received after the priority deadline are added to the waiting pool and reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

5. Decisions Sent: Monday, February 1, 2027

Admissions decisions and financial aid offers are released together.

6. Enrollment Contracts Due: Monday, March 15, 2027

Accepted families submit enrollment contracts and pay the enrollment fee by this date to secure placement.

7. Rolling Admissions Begins: Tuesday, March 16, 2027

Applications received after the priority deadline are added to the waiting pool and reviewed on a rolling basis as space allows.

Tuition and Fees

• Grammar School Tuition: $13,881

• Logic & Rhetoric School Tuition: $14,688

• Application Fee: $115

• Enrollment Fee: $275

• Financial Aid Application Fee: $35 (paid directly to BeneFAQ)

• Optional school-sponsored sports or after-school co-curricular activities: $300 per season

After School Care is available until 6pm for a flat fee of $2,100/year. The drop-in rate is $25/day.

Class Retreats for 6th and 7th grade students and the Washington, D.C. Trip for 8th students will have additional associated costs. Details provided in acceptance packets.

Meals and Uniforms are not included nor provided by Chattanooga Classical Academy. Guides for both will be provided in acceptance packets.

Chattanooga Classical Academy is committed to making a robust, classical education accessible to students from all backgrounds, regardless of financial means. Need-based financial aid may be available for students at every grade level and will be distributed on the basis of need and availability of funds.

Award decisions will be made as soon as all required information is received and reviewed in addition to completion of the student academic assessment and the admissions interview.

Instructions

To apply for tuition assistance for the upcoming school year, here is an outline of the steps you will need to fill out your confidential financial application through BeneFAQ. Follow the directions below beginning on November 15, 2026 (for the 27-28 academic year).

Process

Step 1: Navigate to www.benefaq.com and create a new account if you do not yet have one.

Step 2: Once you are at the site, select the “Parent” button from the upper right.

Step 3: Create an account, entering all the information requested and clicking register which will sign you in for the first time (returning users can then sign in using the sign-in section on the left).

Step 4: Click the CREATE A NEW APPLICATION button.

Step 5: Enter the correct application year, enter Chattanooga Classical Academy's school number (28774) or name in the search window, and select it when it appears. Several schools have similar names, so please make sure you are selecting the correct school. NOTE: If the application year isn’t available, the school has not yet granted access. 

• Enter credit card details and click “Pay and Create App.” The $35 charge will appear as BeneFAQ.

• Once paid, you may begin filling out the application.

Step 6: Follow all on-screen instructions.

• The left-hand menu shows sections to complete. Green = completed. These must be completed in order.

• Click “Save and Continue” at the bottom of each page to proceed to the next page.

• If you need to exit and return later, you will be directed to the most recently saved page.

• For questions, use the “Messages” link in the upper right of any application page. BeneFAQ typically responds within 24 hours (closed weekends/holidays). If you experience any issues with the messaging, email help@benefaq.com.

• When BeneFAQ responds, you’ll receive an email notification. Log in, go to your dashboard, and select “Messages” from the Manage drop-down menu associate with your active application. Safelist help@benefaq.com so their emails do not go to spam.

Step 7: Complete all application sections carefully. Do not skip any questions.

Step 8: After clicking, “Submit App & Proceed” on the last page, you will be directed to upload required documents.

• Upload one file at a time. Use the “Add” button for multiple pay stubs and “Additional Documents” for tax returns or other requested files.

• Submitting your application does not mean it is complete. BeneFAQ may request additional clarifications or documents. Check for messages and respond promptly.

• Processing Time: The school’s application deadline applies only to submission. BeneFAQ’s processing timeline is separate from this deadline and typically takes 3-5 business days after receiving all required documents and requested clarifications.

If you have questions about your application of supporting documents, it is best to use the inline messaging system. BeneFAQ is prompt in its replies and will be very willing to help you as necessary. You can also email help@benefaq.com.

Family Responsibility

The primary responsibility for funding private school education rests with the family. Financial aid is intended to supplement, not replace, family contributions. Families are encouraged to explore all available resources, including *tuition loan programs, to meet any gaps not covered by the school's financial aid package. BeneFAQ recommends the Tuition Loan Program from America’s Christian Credit Union. Restrictions apply. Ask BeneFAQ for more details.

Confidentiality

All financial aid applications and related documents will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Only authorized personnel involved in the financial aid process will have access to these records.
